Dun Dun Dungeon — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Dun Dun Dungeon (the "game"), a text role-playing game operated by Nate Polland and used through an AI assistant connection. By using the game, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and account

You must be at least 13 years old and able to agree to these terms. Keep your AI assistant account and any sign-in information secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your game account.

The game service

Dun Dun Dungeon lets you create characters, play narrative dungeons, earn in-game progress and items, and create dungeons for other players. Game outcomes, including progress, rewards, and availability, are controlled by the service and may change as the game evolves. In-game gold, XP, items, and similar progress have no cash value, are not property, and cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the game.

Your content

You retain ownership of text and other content you submit, subject to the rights below. When you submit content, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, and distribute it only as needed to operate, improve, moderate, and promote the game. This includes making dungeons you publish available to other players.

Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for the game. Do not submit personal information about others without permission. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect players, or operate the service.

AI-assisted content

The game and connected AI assistant may generate narration, images, and other content from player inputs. Generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for how you use or share content you create, and you should not rely on the game for professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical advice.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the game, interfere with its operation, bypass access or rate limits, probe or exploit security weaknesses, impersonate others, use it to harass people, or use automated means to create excessive load. You may not use the game to create or distribute content that violates applicable law or another party's rights.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, dungeons, rewards, or the game itself. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve active game data, but we do not guarantee that the game will always be available, error-free, or that any content or progress will be retained indefinitely.

Disclaimers and limits

The game is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, goodwill, or profits arising from use of the game.

Ending access

You may stop using the game at any time and can request deletion through the delete_account game action. We may suspend or end access when you materially violate these terms or when needed to protect the service or its users. See the Privacy Policy for information about data retention and deletion.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the game changes. The current version will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
